The hot terrorist

For perspective, United Healthcare is the 8th most profitable company in the world. More profitable than Exxon, Mobil...

One of the reasons that it is called a "spectrum" is that, like sexual orientation, a lot of people fall somewhere between the extremes. If everyone on that autism spectrum killed a CEO, there would be a lot of vacant executive suites.
Using the 'autism' excuse these days seems to be an excuse for any and everything.
I am not suggesting for a moment that he is autistic nor that people on the spectrum are potential murderers. Just that it seems to be the latest excuse for bad behaviour. Much like dyslexia was a few years ago

I'm starting to see health care clinicians post YouTube videos about their horrendous experiences with health insurance over filing and getting claims paid. It's even worse than you could imagine.

To make amends with the American people for pardoning his son, President Biden should pardon Luigi
Unlike in math, two negatives don't make a positive.

On the other hand, I do hope Mr. Mangione's crime triggers a revolution. It's overdue.

I stumbled across the Newshour a couple of days after his arrest, and the degree of quasi panic a the growing rage was palpable.

Newsweek article on his back surgery

Meanwhile, because YouTube snoops at my door, this video popped up to help explain Mr. Mangione's lower spinal deformity and the possibly botched surgery that he lives with:

It is interesting to hear that the abs workout may be actually contributing to the imbalance of musculature in the spine. Also, the fact that the spine is so badly out of alignment between those two lower vertebrae is daunting, considering how painful the surgery is to recover from. Imagine going through all that pain just to learn it didn't improve.

I would also like to learn if he actually has erectile dysfunction, or simply cannot stand the pain from topping, no matter what the position.

As catty as the "he's gay" comments are, and we see them EVERY time a handsome man appears in the news, he may well be straight and feel emasculated by the inability to be the romancer he wants to be. A lot of heterosexual desire is dominance, and as much as sitting back to enjoy a blowjob may be titillating for any man, the ability to physically dominate a young woman is an unspoken aspect, "toxic masculinity" protests notwithstanding.

It's not much of a stretch (no pun intended) to imagine a deep-seeded (still not punning) anger growing from such a frustration.

There must be some irony in the juxtaposition of a sexually frustrated man becoming a sex symbol for so many. Cold comfort?

I notice PBS didn't hesitate to use a hot image of him to cover their article on Newhour. Al Pacino should have looked so hot.

We note the ugly gays here too for example Lindsey Graham, so we attack not just the pretty ones.

We're being groomed for the Netflix mini series which is probably well into pre-production. Timothy Chalamet has been spotted bulking up at Planet fitness.

Have you ever seen the film Dog Day Afternoon?
Yes, but I thought he was a much more beautiful man in The Godfather, altthough I did not see it until this year and I saw Dog Day Afternoon decades ago.

His hair was simply stunning.

Yes, true, but my point was that we claim handsome men as gay just because they are fantasies, whether they are gay or not. Innuendo is as good as a cattle brand. Denial is a sure sign, etc. It's a bit bitchy.

Pacino in his prime really was very beautiful. I have a few Pacino stories:

Fifteen or so years ago a friend of mine who's known him for decades ran into him at a screening and remarked to him how great he looked and he responded it was due to high colonics. She later heard he had just had a face lift.

About ten years ago I saw him on the street in Beverly Hills with a tall voluptuous blonde. Even with a teased blond pompadour he looked tiny. Incredibly short. When I mentioned this to the same friend she said, "Oh, he's a dwarf." ( She later said that she was being flippant and cruel, and regretted she had ever said it.)

More recently, I was introduced to him at a party by one of my very worst clients as our relationship was deteriorating. Pacino and other well-known actors were the bait, so to speak. He was perfectly charming. (The relationship continued to deteriorate, and I was fired a few months later.)

None of Pacino's youthful, profound beauty remained and I thought, if his looks deteriorated so badly, what hope is there for the rest of us?

Imagine an actor having a go. You'd think he enjoyed acting. :D

Being diminutive is a charming thing. All those compensating traits can be quite appealing. And you can get your order to go!

I'm good with that. Age takes its toll, and you don't have to be Dorian Grey. I certainly have known men who got more handsome with age, but it was usually a case where they were either unattractive young or at least not very, but then came into their own, and wore age very well. And although he was never handsome in my book, I sympathise with President Carter, who has become a living ghoul with his extreme age. Most friends in their 90's and beyond simply look haggard, not necrotic.
