I'd forgotten about this, I was really keen to see it a few months ago when I was having a horror/gore phase.

The guy at the front doesn't have it so bad, apart from having his kneecaps and teeth removed, at least he doesn't have anus in his face all day.

This appears to have all the stupidity of a brilliant piece of humour like Creepshow with none of the awareness that it is a parody, and none of the humour.

The whole concept leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

It has actually gotten a few half decent reviews (Entertainment Weekly) as a good "cheesey" movie, a kind of throwback to the Roger Corman films.

I'm a big ol' horror geek and saw it last weekend. It's really not as disturbing as it could have been.....although it's still pretty fucked up. :lol:

It normally takes a lot to freak me, but for some reason that really disturbed me in a big 'what the fuck!' way - to the extent that I really don't think I want to see the film...

Agreed. It has a truly depraved premise, but never takes it as far as it could.

The beginning scenes were laughably bad. Then, it got fucked up.

saw the trailer a few weeks ago and peed myself laughing. i immediately forwarded to a friend who loves this kind of trash movies. sooner or later he probably will force me to watch it.

I watched the unrated version of "Inside". It's a well-acted/tense film. Disturbing stuff.

Perhaps you and your boyfriend could watch "The Descent". It's an excellent horror film but does not push boundries of taste like some of these films do.

It was good, but the failure was how dark the whole movie was. A lot of horror flicks are like this now. Way to dark to enjoy they need a bit more light, yeah I get the gig they are in a dark cave.
There were two releases with different endings to this movie, seeing both endings was interesting.

Ironic - we were just discussing racism in another thread and this film depicts the "mad German scientist" in the lead one more time. It's time to close this thread.
