I was fine with the secrecy, but what used to really make me mad (not that I showed I was mad) was the two of us not talking about what did together. I also always had the required girlfriends, as did most of my friends, so it was a no win situation until I got to college. There were always some friends who would talk about what we did together, and some loved to kiss.
I had one friend who, if we were at his house, would only ever get it on in his basement (part of it was furnished with furniture, tv, stereo) because the only way into the basement was down a flight of wood stairs that were noisy so we had plenty of time get “presentable” before anyone could see us. If he suggested we stay upstairs or go swim in the pool I knew nothing would happen, but whenever he said “let’s go downstairs” I knew what was going to happen. As for me having girlfriends, I only had sex with two of them, and it was okay, but not explosive like it was with guys. There was a lot of pressure to date girls, and unfortunately lots of girls liked me and would ask me out, and saying no wasn’t a good idea. I was always on the swim teams, which is full of gay guys, and I had lots of friends to have “fun” with, so I got through it all okay. Had I not had guys to enjoy, and was stuck just dating girls I probably would’ve ended my life.Yeah, same with me, my buddy & I never talked about our antics either. And me asking "Do you wanna come over?" was of course our "code", he knew exactly what that meant.
I never really had a girlfriend, until near the end, and I still don't fully understand what that was all about LOL but it was also probably why I got labeled as the school fag
