I avoided someone today. I feel kind of bad about it...but I think that this person reverts back to the Jr High formula of "tease the person you like" when they're around me. Its not the best way to get a grown person to like you. I dont really like being teased. I dont think that anyone does.

The only other "vice" I'd gripe about is their sale of alcohol. I know it's banned in many "northern" states but I remember walking into a Florida CVS and seeing a beer/wine section and found that to be bizarre.

Well, anything else that they do sell is only bad for you if you excessively use it. Tobacco is bad for you no matter what, even in moderation and it actually affects people that don't smoke that breath it in.

Yup you can get beer or liquor in any drugstore out here, including CVS/Rite Aid. I noted that as well when I read about the tobacco sales issue. I'm a little confused at the notion that these businesses should just make it inconvenient for people who are going to buy that stuff anyway on a separate trip to another store. It's not like I couldn't harm my health with any number of over the counter drugs available on their shelves if I were to use them recreationally or in excess or without needing them.

I'm a little confused at the notion that these businesses should just make it inconvenient for people who are going to buy that stuff anyway on a separate trip to another store. It's not like I couldn't harm my health with any number of over the counter drugs available on their shelves if I were to use them recreationally or in excess or without needing them.

They're probably making room for all the "medicinal" marijuana once it becomes nationally legal.

Tobacco isn't healthy for you at all. Over the counter drugs are only bad for you in excess, they're also there because it is a pharmacy where people go for that stuff. It is hardly comparable to tobacco/cigarettes and what it does to people and people around people who smoke.
