the last film you watched thread

Ha yes she's fantastic! So now I think I'm gonna watch silver linings play book lol

Riddick, I neither liked it nor hated it and this was the directors cut I watched. A bit disappointed as I liked the previous two, yes I did like chronicles of Riddick,.

I watched 4 of the Star was films on VHS, in the last few days. Last night it was Phantom Menace. Though I have seen all of them hundreds of times.

On DVD I have watched the following: (in the last 3 weeks at home)

The Change Up: Pretty funny

Horrible Bosses: Love it! All 3 bosses were certainly horrible. Jennifer Anniston. OMG!!

The Campaign: Stupid, but had it's moments.

Horton Hears A Who: Good animated family film, watched with family for new years.

Ted: Who but the creator of family guy, could turn a talking cuddly bear into a pot smoking perve with a potty mouth. But, it was a fun movie.

The Hangover: Craziest movie ever made. Can watch it again and again, and still laugh.

Bad Teacher: Good story, not that funny, but the acting was good.

NOTE: I take what I said about the hangover back!

The craziest movie ever made is Rapture Palooza. Some really off the wall crap!!

I saw Her tonight. Didn't really like it. Stupid and very slow moving. Joaquin Phoenix is great and Amy Adams too.

I'm disappointed that The Butler and Fruitvale Station did not get nominations. Both great movies and great acting. I have seen most of the nominations this year and most of them I really enjoyed. Also Emma Thompson did not get nominated for Saving Mr. Banks and she gave a wonderful performance as P.L. Travers.

August & The Wolf of Wall Street - both boring as hell, simple stories, nothing to keep it interesting. People were even leaving/sleeping/yawning at August.

I saw Her yesterday also, and have to disagree you. Loved it. Well deserved Oscar nominations except for the omission of Joaquin Phoenix as Best Actor (to me he bested Christian Bale). Scarlett Johansson and Amy Adams were both good in their supporting roles. The movie was smart, witty and well paced.

As for The Butler, that was nothing more than an after school special, something that would be fine on Lifetime.
