the last film you watched thread

I saw "Unbroken" on Christmas Day! Excellent movie! Jack O'Connell is very hot! and so are some of the other guys in the movie. It's incredible what this man went through and lived until age 97. He died this year. It's a true story.

Last night I saw "Foxcatcher" starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo. This movie is also a true story about John Du Pont. Steve Carell was excellent in the movie.

I've been watching Twin Peaks on blu-ray for the past three days. A weird ass show but I completely enjoyed it.
The show is quirky and the characters are fun... I'm seriously crushing on Andy LOL

Oh, as a fan of the X-Files which was inspired by this series, I had a hoot seeing David Duchovny as Denise. Thumbs up! :)

SFLMAN-you stole my post! I saw Unbroken and enjoyed it immensely. Jack O'Connell is shirtless for 1/2 the movie, as are many of his comrades. However, the true story of Louis Zamperini is so amazing and inspiring. Can't wait to see Foxcatcher.

HA, I´m finishing season 1 myself these days.

RED 2, pretty much as good as the first one, I liked that Mary Louise Parker had more to say in this one :D

I loved the show....haven't seen it since the early 1990s. The Log Lady, Audrey, and the woman who was obsessed with silent drapery rods were awesome. Also liked James. :)

I enjoyed the storyline with Nadine, kind of annoyed that they reset button the storyline though... could have been a fun ongoing storyline.

I actually got sick of James, he was a mush head... easily the most sappy and whiny character.

BTW: I heard that there is a new 9 episode run series coming in 2016, to start filming this coming year.
This is good news to me since I felt that the series just ended abruptly without closing out many of the storylines...

Housebound

A movie about a girl who gets put on house arrest where her mother lives and creepy things start happening. Overall pretty good film. A bit scary, had tension and a good bit of humor to it as well. Not anything super laugh out loud funny, more humorous in a chuckling sort of way, which I prefer some times.

He wouldn't have been so whiny if I was there to comfort him. ;) Looking forward to the new episodes.

I revisited one of my favorite films last night.

Ah, "Go"! That's one from back in the day that I haven't thought about for a while. Back when Katie Holmes was so pretty and pre-Tom Cruise [STRIKE]brainwashing[/STRIKE] marriage. :-)

My watch today was this horror/comedy/cheese "classic", lol - "Leprechaun" with a young Jennifer Aniston. Planning to make it through all its sequels over the next few weeks:

Always nice to meet another "Go" fan. I love the scene when Nathan Bexton takes a double dose of ecstasy and the cat talks to him. :)

I saw Leprechaun upon initial release. Let me know how the sequels are. :)

I watched Coffy last night. I love Pam Grier.

Into the Woods. Not bad. Has moments of greatness, but doesn't quite reach greatness as a whole. The third act makes the movie overstay its welcome, though. I'm not a huge fan of musicals, but still I did find this movie entertaining despite a few glaring flaws.

I've been on a film binge since finals ended!
Two nights ago, I saw Alien Abduction....Ugh...don't get me started

I actually didn't find this to be too bad, I tend to like "found footage" though. And I thought at least to why the person carrying around the camera around had a believable reason.

Wish I Was Here.

About as good as someone as Zach Braff could ever get. Some nice moments, but a very simple movie.
