the last film you watched thread

The new J K Rowling film. It was everything that I had hoped it would be.
 
Just returned from seeing "Hacksaw Ridge".

Usually I don't like war films but this was exceptional in its violence, depiction of the realities of war and ability of man to show compassion and faith to something unexplainable.

Some scenes I was unable to watch and parts brought tears flooding to my eyes. Even though the subject matter was so cruel it was still one of the most beautifully filmed pieces of cinema that I have seen for a long time.

Arrival - Really liked this movie, the mystery of the aliens kept my attention and it was all filmed beautifully.

Actually I just stopped watching after 26 minutes, I'm saving these feelings for later on...oh that was so intense and stylish...gonna continue tomorrow right from the start :mrgreen:
