Blade Runner 2049

So we saw this last night.

There is so much good going on in this movie. The visuals, the sound, music, etc. I feel like the scenes really pull you in. I don't see how someone who liked the original film will not like this one. It doesn't ride the coat tails of the original, while it maintains the themes and the feel of the original film it manages to expand in some ways and feel a part of the same world.

I absolutely loved the world building in this movie and I really feel like they did an excellent job on the setting itself and really letting you get a feel for it. I feel like it's one of the those movies you don't expect a good sequel from, especially this day in age but it ended up being absolutely phenomenal. I really need to see it again.
 
Today I saw "Stronger" starring Jake Gyllenhall. He gives a great acting performance as Jeff Baumann from the Boston Bombing.

It was a good movie. Check it out!
 
Train to Busan

I’m am really surprised by this movie. A zombie apocalypse movie that takes place with people stuck on a train during most of it.

Unbelievably emotional, no gore and just characters you really end up giving a shit about. Even though there isn’t gore and just violent at times, the movie ends up having really intense moments through out. I highly reccomend this movie, it’s really good. It’s available on Netflix.
 
Last night I saw " Victoria & Abdul" starring Judi Dench, Ali Fazal, and Eddie Izzard.

What a great movie! The movie was funny and sad. I hope Judi Dench gets another Oscar Nomination for playing Queen Victoria.

I Saw the Devil

Detective seeks revenge from a serial killer who killed his fiancé.

Fantastic movie, gruesome and tense all the way through. Really good score and really good acting.
 
Today I saw "Battle of the Sexes" starring Emma Stone as Billie Jean King and also starring Steve Carell as Bobby Riggs.

What a great movie! Emma Stone and Steve Carell were great in recreating this iconic Tennis game competition.

Great,fantastic horror movie.

There is a small,cute,gay subplot in the movie.

And the director of the movie is gay and he is hot and gorgeous.
