the last film you watched thread

The Cloverfield Paradox - It was alright, not great. I can see why it was on Netflix rather then at the movies.

The 15:17 to Paris

Great, amazing movie.

The world needs more heroes like Spencer Stone, Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed. I felt like it started off strong but then it just kind of withers out.

Last night I saw "Phantom Thread" starring Daniel Day-Lewis. This is supposedly his last movie. He is retiring from acting at 61 Years old.
It was a strange movie, but brilliant acting by Daniel Day-Lewis and also the one who plays his wife and also the sister.

He is such a brilliant actor it is a shame to see him retiring so young.

Check out his last movie role! It is worth it!

Will do, cannot wait. There's no theater here so I'll have to wait until it comes out. I've got a crush on him. He is truly brilliant.

Fellowship of the Ring

I re-watched it awhile back too, fresh on Netflix.

It's my favorite of the three. Some of the character and mystery of the books devolve via the epic battles of the subsequent movies. (Which I still enjoy.)

I randomly put it on for something to watch and really enjoyed watching it again. Need to watch the other 2 again. I remember liking them all but it’s been a while.

I, Tonya - Margot Robbie and Allison Janney were great but the movie was just alright. I liked Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri better.
