the last film you watched thread

The Thing (2011)

I originally was going to boycott this one, but curiosity got the best of me and i decided to check it out. Went in thinking it was suppose to be a remake, but rather was a prequel. Overall not bad however i wasn't that into some of the CGI effects. It just didn't capture what the original did with just props and puppeteer work.

I saw it too.....thought it was pretty good. Rumor is the studio made them add more CGI. From what I read, they originally used many more practicle effects.

I hate to admit but, The sound of Music. Damn that BBC article about how the musical for the first time will perform in Salzburg.

Old Khottabych (1956), interesting only if you are passionate about capital-'S' Soviet cinema or the worn-out special effects of the era.

It's very good. As you'd expect of any Ghibli film.

IDK if it's too hard to read. It says "Do you wanna party?" lol. The only problem is that she bought me them when I was 65 pounds heavier. So now they're pretty big on me. But I still like them.

they're both pretty awesome. really pretty. i like the first one a lil better. but they're both really cool!!!

The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane (1976). Jodie Foster stars as a precocious but vulnerable thirteen year old fending off a sexual predator played by Martin Sheen.

Yeah. The first one isn't so over the top. Only people who have seen the movie would get it.

Tonight I watched Insidious (for the 6th time) with my sister. Then we watched Grave Encounters. She was pretty freaked out by Grave Encounters. Which is expected because Grave Encounters is a damn scary movie. I love it!

i love this film

That movie had some great, realistic looking zombies (if zombies were real). They really looked like rotting, decaying corpses, unlike most recent zombie movies where they just look freshly dead, like live humans wearing zombie makeup.
