Underworld:Awakeing Fun popcorn movie

Paranormal Activity Not a huge fan of the series but had some creepy moments

Secondary melodrama from Sidney Lumet, Equus (1977). While the psycho-mythology is compelling, the dramatic conflict focuses on that great theme of the late seventies: erectile dysfunction. As a gay man, I find such anxiety about unbridled freedom less interesting than just getting off.

Captain America. Sorta goofy, but damned if Chris Evans isn't a feast for the eyes.

every once in awhile ya gotta go with a classic...

The Tourist. Didn't hate it.
(If you have Netflix) may I suggest you watch the original French version called Anthony Zimmer. It was so much better that I wondered why Hollywood would attempt to produce a remake even with well known actors.

No netflix here I am pretty sure (I don't have the bandwidth to use it anyway) but I will track it down.

A talented widower foregoes greater fortune for the love of his two daughters in The Twilight Samurai (2002). But can he forego misfortune, too?

A lighthearted short from Rai, Mahapurush (The Holy Man) (1965). A group of progressives saves a friend from a religious charlatan.

sometimes i think i'm the only homo under 25 who considers "The Boys in the Band" a great, classic film...i finally got around to watching the doc about TBITB's conception...

The Tree Of Life. What the fuck is it? A screensaver?

Why was there a Dinosaur story line? I'm so confused.

^Thanks for reminding me to bump that up my queue. I love Malick. :-)

An H.P. Lovecraft adaptation filmed on the Oregon coast with a gay hero? Cthulhu (2007) sounds promising and it has some gorgeous cinematography. But it's incoherently written to the point of being asinine and populated with implausible characters. Its hackneyed horror elements left me hankering for Stuart Gordon. Boring.
