Went to the cinema today to watch "Godzilla x Kong :The New Empire".

What to me is most fascinating about this movie is that most of the primary cast, who will all be in their 50's or 60's today, did not continue in the business. Only Michael Beck (Swan) and James Ramar (Ajax) are still acting. :=D:

Based on Xenophon's classic ANABASIS, about Greek mercenaries who were paid to support King Cyrus, but just like the movie, Cyrus is killed
and they have to fight their way back through hostile Persian lands to the sea (Coney Island in this modern update). Was not aware that was James Remar! (Dexter's adopted dad).
 
Just watched a great flick recently! It's always fun to share thoughts on the last film you watched. Speaking of movies, any recommendations on what movies are out in the theaters right now?
 
I went to the Cleveland International Film Festival today and saw; "Secret Mall Apartment" and "The Idea of You". Both were American made so were in English. "The Secret Mall Apartment" was about 8 people who found a hidden space in a mall and secretly development it into an apartment in the mall. It took 4 years before they were found out. "The Idea of You" had Anne Hathaway as a star in it. Movies at film festivals don't usually have name stars. Both were good.

A few days ago I saw a group of 7 shorts made about Ukraine. About 3 or 4 of them were depressing because they showed what it is like in the Ukraine now.
