the last film you watched thread

Just saw "Bridesmaids" on cable

After a slow first 30 minutes it's laugh out loud funny

Wild/fun times. I saw lots of cool double features at the Nuart. Lots of classics, Bogart and Bacall, Bette Davis, cult/camp/horror. Went to the premiere of "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers". LOL!!!

Latest movie I've watched:

hollywood cahinsaw hookers FTW!!!! lmao

well anyways the last film that i seen was wrath of the titans. it was ok, it was expecting worse, but it wasn't all that either. i really found myself missing the old cheesy clash of the titans film from back in the day.

i know Elmo is "underage", but maybe JUB will let this one slide...idk wut it is, i really like documentaries...

Solid sequel. More generically "slasher" and less mysterious than the first but a fun watch.

The Librarian trilogy with Noah Wyle, Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin.

I'm an 80s baby, I grew up on films from the early 90s, I don't know why it was my first time watching this. It was GREAT! Richard Gere has multiple sex scenes that are pretty rough and intense.

Yeah, I prefer the original "Clash of the Titans" featuring the cool stop-motion effects of Ray Harryhausen. :)

I may go see "Hunger Games" on Sunday. I like Jennifer Lawrence. She gave an excellent performance in "Winter's Bone".

Last movie I watched:

Titanic 3D. ..|

The 3D conversion is excellent. It greatly enhances the feel for the size of the ship and the distance to the water for lowering the lifeboats, for example.

The water flooding the ship seems much more real on the screen.

It isn't 'over done' either.

The soundtrack must have been enhanced as well, because it definitely sounded better than when I saw it in 1997. Of course, theaters have better sound systems now too.

I've been debating whether to see this. Did you see it in Imax by any chance?

I already seen the 2D in the theater twice, so I was first hesitant to pay more money for another ride. But the reviews for this version have been very positive.

Just watched "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" (the American version) and was disappointed. If I hadn't read the book, I'm not sure I would have understood the plot.
