the last film you watched thread

I saw "Pirates of the Caribbean: dead Men Tell No Tales". I guess that it was alright. I saw some of the earlier Pirates films but not all of them and don't remember who was who and what they did. It would help to understand this new movie if you remembered all of the characters from the earlier films, but I didn't, so I somewhat enjoyed this movie but it wasn't great.
 
John Wick 2.

Such a good, fun, not taking itself too seriously action flick. The world building is a lot of fun and once the action gets going, it just ramps up and up. I cannot wait for a third one, I need it.
 
John Wick 2 was great and must see it again, we also really enjoyed Doctor Strange will see it again and again.

Good to hear. I'm taking John Wick 2 with me next time I visit my cool 83 year-old pop. We loved the first one. Last time I visited him, we watched Doctor Strange and enjoyed. :)

Totally worth it, if you liked the first one there is no way you won't like this one.

Very much a David lynch wannabe, it was very contrived and was working too hard to be an art film.

Last film I seen was twin peaks, fire walk with me.

I liked the original...although I thought the sounds of the children should have been more prominent. The "sequel/remake" was not very scary. We have seen it all before. I think what would have helped the film was if it was shot in the Fall. The cold/dead foliage of the first film was creepy.

I like them both but yeah the original was better.
