the last film you watched thread

Guardians of the Galaxy.

I like Chris Pratt a lot.😎

Seriously, if your pop took you to see Taxi Driver when you were 12, he's confirmed cool.

Thanks! :) I'll be visiting him next month and taking "John Wick 2" (we loved the first one) and "Get Out". Pop is 83 now and I cherish the time we spend together.

"The Ghost goes West" 1935 with Robert Donat as the ghost leading us a merry chase from Scotland, to America.

An enjoyable treat that relaxes the nerves, and releases the frustrations of the passing day.

Highly recommended viewing for those needing a big laugh, for the silliness of this film makes it an ideal companion for those seeking a quiet evening at home.

Death Note on Netflix. It was aight, gotta love Willem Dafoe, and Nat Wolff is cute.

Huge fan of the series, not so much this version of it in this movie. Though what I did like was the more horror aspect, at least in the beginning and the deaths being a bit gory was cool. The script seemed to be a bit of a mess though.

The chase scene between Light and L was probably one of the best parts bough, well shot, music that fit the scene and it actually felt like a chase scene because the actors made it look like one with how intense they looked.

Unfortunately one of the better aspects of the series in general was taken out and dumbed down. Which was the intellectual chess games between L and Light because they were as smart as one another in the anime/manga.

The Watcher in The Woods 1980 - I haven't seen this since I was a lad. I was scared of it then, now, not so much.

The Boys Next Door 1985 - Kind of a miserable film with two characters with very little redeeming value, on the plus Maxwell Caufield was such a stud. Additionally, there is a homosexual undertone to the relationship between the two characters.

Today I saw "Landline" starring Edie Falco, John Turturro, Jennie Slate, Jay Duplass, Abby Quinn, and Finn Wittrock.
The movie was very funny and also dramatic as well. Finn Witrock is very hot!

It was very good movie! Check it out!

Secret Summer.

Actually, my sister was watching, it but I was bored. The only thing good was the nice eye candy Derek Theler. 😎

Jean Rollin's Fascination (1979) is a vampire movie a la francaise for erotic ding-dongs.

Today I saw 2 movies. The first movie I saw was "The Glass Castle" starring Woody Harrelson, Brie Larson, and Naomi Watts. The movie is based on the best selling memoir from Jeanette Walls. I thought the movie was great! I also read the book several years ago and liked the book as well.

The second movie I saw was "The Only Living Boy In New York" starring Callum Turner, Kate Beckinsale, Pierce Brosnan, Cynthia Nixon, and Jeff Bridges. This movie I thought was great too! There was a twist at the end which I did not expect. Callum Turner is nice looking eye candy too!

Check out both of these movies!

Whitney: Can I Be Me - Recent documentary on the life of Whitney Houston. Sad but good!
