the last film you watched thread

Just finished watching "Before I Wake". Bit odd in that I thought the ending message's particulars were creepy as fuck when I suspect they weren't meant to be, but otherwise a decent film.

Also saw "The Shape of Water." Very nice, I think it's going in the collection.

King Cobra. The guy who plays Brent is adorable.

You don't know that the "guy who plays Brent" is the always sexy af Garrett Clayton?!?!?!?

Turn in your Gay Card at once!!!!!!!

Speaking of Gay Cards, I watched "Hello, Dolly".

I had to renew my Gay Card, and this, "Mommie Dearest", and "Wizard of Oz" are the best ways to do it.

"Call Me By Your Name"

I had wanted to see Call Me By Your Name for months. I finally had a theater, an hour away showing it.

It was a solid 7 to me until the last few minutes. Then it became the strongest 10. Never before had a film changed my opinion so quickly.

Today I saw "All the Money in the World" starring Christopher Plummer, Michelle Williams, and Mark Wahlberg.
Great movie! It is inspired by true events. I hope Michelle Williams wins an Oscar for this movie! She had to re-shoot this movie after Kevin Spacey was fired and she was barely compensated. Her performance was great in this movie! Check it out!

I also saw today "The Shape of Water" starring Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, and Richard Crenna.
The movie was a little strange. But it was a very good movie and great performances, especially Sally Hawkins.
It was a love story mixed with Science Fiction.
Check it out!

Saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi again yesterday. Enjoyed it even more the second time round!

Today I saw "Call Me By Your Name" for the second time! What a great movie! I loved it as much as the first time I saw the movie.

The Book was great too. I may have to re-read the book again too!

Has everyone already mentioned Goodnight Mommy (2014) (Ich Seh, Ich Seh, original title) and I just didn't notice?

A pair of boys doubt the goodness of their mother. Tense, violent but mostly bloodless, a touch of politics, good filmwork, mystery.
