the last film you watched thread

Godzilla: King of Monsters - I enjoyed it more then the first one! Some great fights. Looking forward to Godzilla vs. Kong!

I agree with you completely!
The critics complained there wasn't enough human participation. As someone else wrote on another site, who goes to see a Godzilla movie for the humans?!? Jeez, He was positively gentle with the humans in the last movie! And in the last movie, the critics complained that Godzilla didn't appear until halfway through the movie. Now they complain that it's "too much of the monsters." Damned if you do, and damned if you don't...

I thought it was quite good, and the monsters were very lifelike in their movements, especially King Gidorah. Mothra, though, was really - and I dislike how often this word is used - awesome. That golden glow gave her the appearance of a divinity (which she IS, according to the inhabitants of the island she lives on). I think HER appearance was the most breathtaking moment in the movie. Everybody else just stomps in, but her appearance bordered on angelic, light the clouds parting, and the voice of God speaking. VERY cool!! 3 STARS!!

The Biggest Little Farm

9/10

Good doc on what it takes to run a farm.

I Can Only Imagine.

A Jesus saves us all film. Based on a song that sold millions; a song that I found quite pathetic.

The House That Jack Built (2018) - A very strange and violent film. It was good in parts but I don't know what to think of it overall. (It's Lars Von Trier's newest film.)

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

...again.

The Aladdin remake. It was cool, but I feel like the genie's love story was a bit forced.
Thanks for spoiling that Genie had a love story in the movie. SMH
