the last film you watched thread

I watched 4 last weekend

Glass. I really liked the final movie in this triptych. James McAvoy does a really good job with the multiple personalities .

Skyscraper. Might have well been diehard remake. The Rock was a little stiff and boring in this movie. The special effects were good.

The Prodigy. It was pretty bad. Kid gets taken over by a serial killer at birth.

Captain Marvel. I liked it. Good action.

Airport '77

....yep....it's still the best one

77, the one that goes under the sea? or was it a typo?

I saw parts of 77 but not the whole thing

And of course, Airport, was great and so timely in that a desperate man brings a bomb on board

But 75 and tethering a man to come in the cockpit's window . . . who writes this stuff up and we know how it ended

77...yep

I've got the box set Airport pack and watched the two back to back

1st one is good but I was in the mood for more action. Ima skip the 79 concorde one....it's dumb as a boot

"At Eternity's Gate" Julian Schnabel's film about Vincent Van Gogh's final years starring William Dafoe. Saw it on a Finnair flight to Helsinki from Los Angeles. Wonderful movie, but couldn't stand Dafoe's accent so after a minute or so I switched to the version dubbed in French. Much better, and made much more sense as almost all of the action was in France. Tried without success to find the French-dubbed version on YouTube to offer a comparison.
Even in English well-worth seeing.

I did the same thing in mid-June flying Air France from Paris and watching "Colette" with Keira Knightley. Much better in French than English.
