Last night I saw "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" starring Tom Hanks and Matthew Rhys. Tom Hanks was great as Mr. Rogers. He captured his mannerisms and was Great, as usual! Matthew Rhys was Lloyd Vogel, the writer from Esquire Magazine. He is based on the real person, Tom Junod. The movie is inspired by an Esquire Magazine cover story about American Heroes.

I love Mr. Rogers! I was a kid and used to watch his show all the time! The movie also has someone portraying Mr. McFeely, mailman, Speedy Delivery! lol Also his friend on the show Lady Aberllin was also portrayed. Someone also portrayed Joanne Rogers, his wife. I hope Tom Hanks and especially Matthew Rhys get Oscar Nominations for these roles!

The world needs a little kindness right now and the world needs Mr. Rogers!
