the last film you watched thread

This afternoon I saw "Uncut Gems" starring Adam Sandler. The movie is a drama and is a departure from the comedic roles that Sandler usually plays. He was very good! His character is a jerk!

Check it out for his great dramatic acting!

This afternoon I also saw "Little Women" starring Laura Dern, Meryl Streep, Saoirise Ronan. It was a good movie and the first time I saw this movie, which has been made many times. Greta Gerwig wrote and directed this movie and she did an excellent job. It was a bit difficult to follow, since it went from past time to present time.

Check it out for excellent acting and some nice eye candy with Timothee Chalamet(from "Call Me By Your Name") and also Louis Garrel!

The Goldfinch - I really wish more people had seen this as I think its a pretty good movie and an interesting adaption of a highly regarded book.

We Bought a Zoo (2011)

"Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re-open a struggling zoo."

I saw Star Wars 9. I was lazy and took my bike to the bus stop which is only a 6 minute walk.
I saw the movie. It was good but longer than I would have wanted. I wasnt a huge Star Wars fan
Came home and someone took the seat off my bike crud!!

@m1thousand, thank you. :)

Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)

Ready Player One - it was cute. pop culture heavy and mindless entertainment. 7.2/10

I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017)

"When a depressed woman is burgled, she finds a new sense of purpose by tracking down the thieves alongside her obnoxious neighbour. But they soon find themselves dangerously out of their depth against a pack of degenerate criminals."

I didnt understand Parasite because it did have subtitles. I watched this video and I think it is a must see for anyone who thinks of themselves as a movie buff. There is much symbolism in the movie about the rich and the poor and how an event affects them in different ways.

Or if you dont mind spoilers . . .

Once Upon A Time......In Hollywood.

A bit of a long haul for two minutes of slapstick at the end.
