the last film you watched thread

It would be great if you guys would give us a little information on the film and tell us whether you like it or not.

Code 8, about some people with super powers but they are not allowed to use them. It was not bad.

^ As long as they don't spoil the movie for those who have not seen and might want to see it. :)

-----

The Witches (1990)

Midsommar (2019) - "A couple travel to Sweden to visit their friend's rural hometown for its fabled midsummer festival, but what begins as an idyllic retreat quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult." - I still think this movie is not as good as Ari Aster's other one Hereditary but it is still interesting to say the least.

Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) - "Roberta Glass, a housewife, leads a dull life. She tries every possible way to add spice to it. Things take a turn when she loses her memory and is mistaken for a New York City drifter, Susan." - Still Madonna's best movie.

Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken! (2017) - "Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock opens his own chicken restaurant to explore industry claims that fast food is now healthier and more natural and organic." - Not as good as the first one but still worth a watch if you want to learn about the chicken growing industry in America and how that affects the fast food industry.

Rubber Rat,
Im in Canada and the movie is still $20 (Premiere . . because it was relaesed from movie theaters sooner that it would have been)
What was the cost for you where you live?
Ive been waiting to rent it

Hi! I just saw your post. Yes....$19.00. I figured that's about how much I would spend in the theater. I also watched The Hunt and liked it.

Extraction (2020) - "A black-market mercenary who has nothing to lose is hired to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. But in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible." - I thought this was quite good for a Netflix movie. Chris Hemsworth was great as the lead and nice to see him playing an Australian for once.

Abominable (2019)

"Three teenagers must help a Yeti return to his family while avoiding a wealthy man and a zoologist who want him for their own needs."

Trading Mom (1994)

"Three children have had it with their mother, and magically make her disappear. The kids then head out to the "Mommy Market" for a replacement mom."

Underwater (2020) "Disaster strikes more than six miles below the ocean surface when water crashes through the walls of a drilling station. Led by their captain, the survivors realize that their only hope is to walk across the sea floor to reach the main part of the facility. But they soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when they come under attack from mysterious and deadly creatures that no one has ever seen." - I didn't know what to expect with this movie but I really enjoyed it!

I haven't seen that one in eons. Used to come on a lot on the Disney Channel back in the day. Did you like it?

The Invisible Man. It was really good, better than I ever expected it to be.

2001: A Space Odyssey - One of the most thought-provoking and confusing films ever made and also one of the best.
