A League of Their Own (1992)

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016)

"When Jacob discovers clues to a mystery that stretches across time, he finds Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. But the danger deepens after he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers."

Coffee & Kareem (2020)

"Twelve-year-old Kareem Manning hires a criminal to scare his mom's new boyfriend — police officer James Coffee — but it backfires, forcing Coffee and Kareem to team up in order to save themselves from Detroit's most ruthless drug kingpin."

Lady In The Lake. A 1940's film noir Phillips Marlowe detective movie. Shot in an interesting way: Most of what we see is thru the eyes of Marlowe from the camera's viewpoint. You only see Marlowe when he's in front of a mirror. Like MatthewTee0 I love old school Hollywood films including the film noir genre.

Valley of the Dolls

I had never seen it. A friend sent me a copy of the recent book about it Dolls, Dolls, Dolls, so I rented the film and then read it. Interesting film, had to keep in mind that it wasn't a later retro deal, but filmed at the time.
