the last film you watched thread

"The Skin I Inhabit", directed but not written by Pedro Almodovar. Absolutely brilliant.

Tenet - Its a crazy movie. Action occurred in forward motion and in backward motion on the screen at the same time. Forward action taking place in the foreground and reverse action taking place in the background. Men were running forward and explosions were 'un-exploding'. Fight scenes occurred in reverse. Car chase scenes with cars driving backward!!!

I used this youtube video to explain the movie before I saw it.

I was the only person in the movie theater at 3 pm on Tuesday

Although there were time jumps back and forth, I was watching this video during the movie to figure it out

I thought John David Washington did a good job of holding his own in the movie.

And its going to be two big years for Robert Pattison starring in this movie and in 'The Batman' next year (Oct 1, 2021)

"Out in the Dark" - gay romance/action/drama, I found it really good.

The Dead Don't Die (2019)

"The peaceful town of Centerville finds itself battling a zombie horde as the dead start rising from their graves."

Becky (2020)

"A teenager's weekend at a lake house with her father takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts wreaks havoc on their lives."

Come to Daddy (2019)

"A man in his thirties travels to a remote cabin to reconnect with his estranged father."

Extraction. I wasted about an hour trying to get interested. I just could not watch any more of it. To me it was an action movie by the numbers.

1917

Based on true accounts of World War I, two soldiers are chosen to deliver an ambush warning to another British regiment that is isolated deep within German enemy territory. If they do not succeed and deliver the message, 1,600 soldiers' lives will be imperiled.

Fantastic, horrifying, and beautiful all at the same time. They're going to be watching this movie a hundred years from now, just like we watch "The Wizard of OZ" and realize it's a "classic".

The Night Clerk (2020)

"A voyeuristic hotel clerk becomes the subject of a murder investigation."

Candyman (1992) - I don't know why I waited so long to watch this! So Good!
The Devil All The Time (2020) - I tried to like this movie but it was just bad.

Corporate Animals (2019)

"CEO Lucy takes her staff on corporate team building in some underground desert caves in New Mexico and they get stuck there."

Bill and Ted Face the Music. I was really surprised how funny I found this film. Was a worthy sequel.

"Heartbreakers" starring Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt. They play a mother-daughter duo of con artists! The movie had a great cast and was a great movie!

Check it out!
