the last film you watched thread

Birds of prey: The emancipation of one Harley Quinn.

I thought it was great. Have seen it twice already and will see it many times again.

Charlie's Angels, the latest one.
Captain America all three of them.

The List (2000)

"After being arrested for solicitation, a high-class prostitute threatens to make public a list of her best clients."

Wonder Woman is still $30!!!

No one is going to see Oscar nominated movies because it will be $20 - $30 On Demand

Justice League: The Synder Cut.

I enjoyed it. The 4 hour length didn't phase me: when I was young, in the 50s, you would go to the movie and see a "double feature" (two movies), so you were in the cinema all afternoon. There was no rush to "get on with it" and do something else. So, this was fine. Better film with more of the backstory of Cyborg, including when he was young and a star quarterback (before his injury). And you got to see Darkseid in this one. VERY different from the original, which was a bit rushed, but still ok. Much more humanity evident in this cut, although Snyder occasionally overdoes it (too many slow motion sequences, especially The Flash, who can move faster than the speed of light). Other than that, it was enjoyable not to have every moment be POW! BAM! SMASH! BOOM!

Saturday

"V.C. Andrews' Ruby." based on the books from the late V.C. Andrews

Sunday

"V.C. Andrews' Pearl in the Mist."

Lots of nice eye candy in these movies.

I had read all the books many years ago and enjoyed reading them. The movies were good too.

Next weekend is the conclusion with "All that Glitters" and "Hidden Jewel." Check them out on Lifetime TV.

P2 (2007)

"A businesswoman is pursued by a psychopath after being locked in a parking garage on Christmas Eve."

"Coming 2 America" starring Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall. It was funny and entertaining! Lots of cameo appearances by different celebrities in this movie.

Check it out!

Justice League: The Snyder Cut

So much better than the theatrical release. It's not even a fair comparison. I was worried about the length since it is 4 hours but breaking the story up into chapters made the movie go by a lot faster. Loved seeing the backstories of the characters as well since that wasn't shown in the other version. Overall really enjoyed it

Love that movie. The outcry about the fate of the dog always got on my nerves. It was trying to kill her for goodness sake!

It's Easter so of course I watched The Ten Commandments for the zillionth time.

Angels and Demons

I recorded The Ten Commandments also but Ive watched a few times. I remember the scene with the old woman about to be crushed by the stone

Wonder Woman is FINALLY at $7.00 on Demand

Do they really think we will see any Oscar nominated movies by the time the Oscars air?

WW 84

There were continuity issues (film flubs)
- when the characters are eating at a restaurant, a fan was blowing Kristen Wigg's hair around, in the next shot, it wasnt. Repeat
- when Wigg wakes up, there is a green sweater on her shoulders. The next shot and it is gone

The movie was what I thought it would be. The ending was 'hokie'

There is an Easter Egg (a cameo) after the credits
