Shaft 2019 Samuel Jackson is amazing. The movie is full of action and it is also well made, very funny too.
 
New Candyman.

Thought it was a phenomenal film, well directed and well acted. Beautifully shot, just top tier cinematography. Glad the carried the same kind of narrative with this soft reboot/sequel. It dives in and it wasn't afraid to keep going. Original is one of my favorites because it was the kind of movie I never seen before about a subject that I wasn't familiar with at the time.

Agreed, this movie was such a treat to watch, really enjoyed it.

We also watched Love and Monsters last night and I am surprised how light hearted and wholesome this movie ending up being. Very fun film all the way through. Don't let the apocalypse setting misinform about the general feel about the film. Really enjoyed how everything played out in the film.
 
Last night I saw "Flag Day" starring Sean Penn, Dylan Penn, and Hopper Penn. The movie was directed by Sean Penn and stars his daughter and son. His daughter looks like her mother, Robin Wright.

The movie is a true story. Sean Penn plays a bank robber and counterfeiter.

It was a good movie.

Not the "Alone" I was planning to watch. Apparently there's another "Alone" movie that came out in 2020 and that's the one I downloaded. It wasn't very good.

Last night I saw "Everybody's Talking About Jamie" starring Max Harwood and Richard E. Grant.

Jamie is a high school senior who aspires to be a drag queen. It is a funny, dramatic, and musical movie. It is now being streamed on Amazon.

It was a really good movie! Check it out!
 
Annabelle Comes Home, sweet Jesus I said the Our Father Hail Mary and Glory Be a fair few times during it. I'm still freaked out and I watched it last night.
