the last film you watched thread

Last night I saw "The Woman King" starring Viola Davis and John Boyega. I enjoyed this movie despite it being a bit slow moving. It is a part of history that was unknown. The movie is based on a true story. Viola Davis was excellent as always. She is one of my favorite actresses. I hope she receives another Oscar nomination for this role.

Today I saw "Amsterdam" starring Christian Bale, John David Washington, Margot Robbie, and Robert DeNiro. The movie was a really good movie. It is about a murder and also what happened in history. It has a lot of parallels to what is going on right now with the Maga movement. There are also a lot of celebrity cameo roles in this movie too!
