the last film you watched thread

Maybe old but it's the bomb

The only bad thing with this movie is that the women scream a lot and it's very annoying. 😂

Last night I saw "Chevalier." It is a true story about a mixed race guy who is a violinist. It is a part of history that was never told before. He lived in France before the French Revolution. He was friends with Marie Antoinette until she turned her back on him. The movie kept your interest from beginning to end. Which most movies don't.

Check it out!

Sliding Doors (1998)

"A London woman's love life and career both hinge, unknown to her, on whether or not she catches a train. We see it both ways, in parallel."

Heavyweights (1995)

"Plump kids are lured into joining a posh fat camp with the promise of quick weight loss and good times, only to find that it is a woodland hellhole run by a psycho ex-fitness instructor."

Just got back from seeing it. Great film. Sadly most people will never see it.

9/10

I would have gave it a 10 out 10 if it would have covered the later years of his life and if it was in French. The movie seemed half done as it didn't cover his war service.

The Night Clerk (2020)

"A voyeuristic hotel clerk becomes the subject of a murder investigation."

Ticket to Paradise (2022)

"A divorced couple teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago."
