Last night I saw "The Miracle Club" starring Laura Linney, Kathy Bates, and Maggie Smith. The movie takes place in Dublin in 1967.

Great movie! Great story, great acting, beautiful settings too!

Check it out!

Pay It Forward (2000)

"A young boy attempts to make the world a better place after his teacher gives him that chance."

Joy Ride and No Hard Feelings.

Both are hard R rated films and I enjoyed both. 8/10 for both.

Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

"A young New York socialite becomes interested in a young man who has moved into her apartment building, but her past threatens to get in the way."

Last night I saw "OppenHeimer." It was a long movie at 3 hours! The first half was a bit dull but the second half was better.

Check it out!

The real star of this movie is the cat, he was a superb actor.
What a shame about the part they gave Rooney, to give someone so talented such a shitty racist role to play spoils the whole film.

That cat was talented!

The sad thing is that Mr. Yunioshi could have been a good part with a good Japanese-American actor and a few tweaks to the script. (It's okay for the character to be eccentric; it's just the minstrel-show acting that Mickey Rooney was either allowed or expected to do that's the problem.)

In fact, it could still be a good part. Paramount wants to do a remake but is stuck in a legal battle with a Truman Capote heir who wants to sell TV rights.
