the last film you watched thread

Kinda basic but I watched The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in the cinema, but had to exit nearing the end of the movie since there was a weak earthquake. Just read the synopsis to know the ending lol.

Black Adam. Not to spoil it but it had way too much CGI. My partner was really into it but I spent the last hour of the movie counting the lines on the curtains.

The Fugitive (1993)

"Dr. Richard Kimble, unjustly accused of murdering his wife, must find the real killer while being the target of a nationwide manhunt led by a seasoned U.S. Marshal."

Yesterday I saw "American Fiction" starring Jeffrey Wright, Sterling K. Brown, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Erika Alexander, and Leslie Uggams. The movie is so very funny from start to finish. I think it is one of the best and funniest movies I have seen in a long time!

Everyone needs to check it out!

The Grapes of Wrath (1940)

It was on TV. Not many commercials, mostly Consumer Cellular. It looked very good, maybe re-mastered. I just stumbled across it while channel surfing.
I don't remember seeing the movie before. But I liked the book, so why not. I liked the movie.

Friends with Money (2006)

"After she quits her lucrative job, Olivia finds herself unsure about her future and her relationships with her successful and wealthy friends."
