the last film you watched thread

Zero Dark Thirty. More like a documentary - but in a way it was. Solid 4. (The Marriott scene startled me out of my seat even tho I knew what was coming.)

Earth's Final Hours. B grade barnburner. Solid 3.

It's pretty amazing actually. The transfer to modern times is perfect and Chloe Grace-Moretz is incredible.

Chloe is great as is Julianne Moore

I thought it was interesting that one character in the original movie
doesn't meet her demise in the Prom massacre - although in the original it pretty much signified that 'rage' has no bounderies and that anyone who's in the path will get mowed down - good or bad

just watched the remake of I Spit On Your Grave - all in all pretty good, but the castration should have been even more gorier. The filmmaker's new they were going to release this unrated, so
why NOT film a medium shot of the dude missing his todger... they did it in Hostel II

Even if you think you're not interested in Lacanian-Marxist philosophers from Slovenia, chances are good you might enjoy Zizek! (2005).

The Lightkeepers, with Richard Dreyfuss and Tom Wisdom. it was OK, but I liked looking at Tom Wisdom.

somebody had the new 75th anniversary "wizard of oz" dvd so i wathced it. the story is the same and the floating head green oz dude still scares the poop out of me.

True Grit (2010).

Spielbergian spittle-soaked cottonball of cliches.
