The Last Of Us video game being turned into HBO show

So I love the video game played and beat it so many times it's just so amazing. And also I can't wait for it's sequel coming out in May.

But I just heard of a TV series being developed by HBO, and it looks like it's already got some talented people behind it, so I'm curious to see how they translate it from video game to TV and whether they can do it justice. What does everyone else think?

I loved the game too but I’m starting to wonder if maybe it’s getting out of hand? Like what can a tv series do that a game can’t do but better

Yeah that's one point that I've heard. Another is that hopefully if they do this show right, and the quality is there that maybe this will open up the world of The Last Of Us to a much wider audience to people who maybe don't even play video games or even heard of the game at all that they will get to experience this world.

Also it seems like The Last Of Us is becoming a full on franchise you of course had the original game, there was some comic books, there is the upcoming sequel to the game, and now a TV series. And so I am a big fan love it thought it was amazing, and it will be interesting to see what they do going forward with the upcoming sequel game and now TV series.
