We did. Unfortunately once we got back, my stepmom was rushed to Duke hospital in Durham. I've been going back and forth there since last Friday. She has cancer and her heart stopped. They got her going again but they can't treat her cancer anymore. Now its just comfort care. She will be transferred to hospice today or tomorrow. Not a good week.

I am so sorry to hear this Steve. (*8*) I know what you are going through because my Mom and Dad both died of cancer. I hope that they can control the pain so she does not suffer. If I got that bad I have a "Do Not Resuscitate Order" so that I do not have to suffer. Cancer is a big problem in my Dads side of the family. On his side 8 have died of cancer including his Mother. Of my Brothers and Sisters (7) one Brother and one Sister have had cancer and thank God it was found early.

It's a terrible disease. She's been fighting it for 3 years now.
