The latest assault on men and boys: "Toxic Masculinity"

Please! How about safe spaces for toxic feminity?

Exactly what makes you think femininity isn't discussed at great breadth and length in those 'safer spaces' that you insist no one is giving men in every other thread where safer spaces are brought up? Not everything is about your particularly toxic brand of masculinity, christ. And I don't care if you're big, but if you smell do your family a favor and go bathe.

I think I can answer what you think people do in discussion spaces and courses, tho; Nothing. it's because you prefer not to think, let alone discuss intricacies of masculinity or femininity at all, and so assume no one else wishes to as well. So anything brought up must just be slander against your own lovely self.

Got news, ect & so forth, people, including women have conversations about femininity, masculinity and expectations both with and without safer spaces.

I didn't listen to your video though. I suspect it's just someone ranting incoherently and I get enough of that on here reading you. You've spent years going "What about the Men!" and when you get the same kinds've courses you still complain.

TLDR; I don't expect your video to make any more sense than you generally do so I gave myself an afternoon gift and skipped it with a smile.

So it's crap to give men 'safe space' to talk about and work through how masculinity has affected 'em. Gotcha, I'll be sure to point this out the next time a man here whines that no one is catering to 'em. Not incidentally, giving men spaces to work through their issues isn't what got the orange cheeto'd rat bastard elected.

Maybe some of you should read the article before commenting. If the point was well taken you wouldn't've posted dribble that contradicts both the point Rareboy made and the article's information.

I read the article and it's bullshit. It's been my experience that most women are much more toxic to women than men . Men will duke it out, make up and move on. Vindictive women go for the throat like pit-bulls, especially to other women.

How is "duking it out" any better than "going for the throat"? That just sounds like a double standard.

If you are going to base your opinion on gender only on your own experiences, you live in a very small world.

There's something quaintly naive about academics thinking they might be able to influence the behaviours of dimwits who thinking duking it out are a solution to life's problems.

If ever there was a disconnect between ivory towers and trash...

I'd call it naive but the ivory towers have been influencing dimwits (along with everyone else) for centuries upon centuries. Not that the group discussions are particularly ivory-tower-ish; it's just discussing femininity and masculinity in one's own experiences and listening to others opinions and experiences on the same. Not exactly high falutin' language there.

It is a logical method for rational discussion.

It's why I despise the "moronic 'update function'": if I mean two things to go together, I put them together.

Also, within posts I used the <enter> button to put extra space between distinct or different sets of thought. That, too, is logical.

Cool beans...I love it. I was just concerned that you might need a new keyboard.

The computer is merely trying to help you. :p

Which being translated means that somewhere a software geek decided that people who make posts quickly together really either meant to or ought to make one post out of them. Since he had the power, he built in this little routine as an attempt to force us all to conform to his view of reality.

The routine is designed to thwart spambots. (o)

I think that contributing to the evolution of society in positive ways has a good result..alot of times unintended....

An example...

As part of his Asian Studies Class in college.....mt best friend (who is Asian) had to attend an Asian Theater Event where they had four parts...and the first one...STILL has an impact on me today as if I heard it an hour ago.

A tiny Asian Woman walked out on this big stage in traditional garb and took small steps...very submissive...very "ornamental"...talking as was expected of a submissive woman ....on purpose as we discover...because....

...all of a sudden she went commando and had an army coat and the whole vibe ...she was tough...and started screaming at us about not being a fucking object...and she made her point..very well I might add. It was stunning....

Sometimes people wake up...we need to count on it. This was educational art....but educational nonetheless.

As often happens..alot of children remain in the mold of their parents and never really discover what else they are beyond the roles created for them. Programs like this..even if it awakes one person...that is enough for change....because one person has the power to change alot of things....

The true dimwits would still be burning witches given the opportunity. Although you can influence law makers and moralists, there's a subset of people whose thinking will never change.

Yes....for the most part..they will not change....but IMO it is worth if if even one person changes....

True sociological change happens one person at a time...

This anti-male ideology will soon be incorporated into the speech codes of many universities and colleges. These ideologies do not start with the students, they start with the faculty, which teaches them and incorporates them into rules of behavior.

If you click your heels three times.... we might get some Russians and Nazis and White Supremists to take their place!

...and we all know what they would teach ...eh?

Clesrly wrong. I am the most consistently libertarian voice on this forum.

You are not libertarian and our posts are based on the plenty of posts you have posted on here in support of white supremacist ideals.

A little dose of reality mightn't hurt. It would help to burst the bubble that the privileged folk live in.
