I don't go to the library because everything I need is on the internet. The only good library in Toronto is the reference library that's awesome! The Toronto reference library as free internet access, but it also has very rare books that I can only find there so that's why I like it.

I like to own books. But, in the last two years I've sort re-discovered the library as I have less money to buy books now. The county library system here is pretty good. I've been surprised at some of the books I've found. i thought they'd be more conservative than they are.
I literally live around two corners from my town's public library.
I seldom go in there though because I do most of my own reference work on line now, and I get so many Barnes & Noble certificates as gifts from my students, that I buy what I want to read on line or at my nearby B&N store at the mall.
