Re: Magnificent... with a click

This appears to be a deliberate re-creation of the iconic Beatles album cover "Abbey Road," sans Beatles. On the album cover, the four Beatles members were crossing at the crosswalk. At first I thought it was the same photo with the Fab Four removed. After all, there's the white Volkswagen parked in the same place, there's a man standing beside the road in the same place, near a parked black car.

But I compared it to the cover on my Abbey Road album, and it's clear that it's not the same. On the album, the VW is parked over the curb, it is not here. And the man is different. He is wearing a brown suit on the album cover, in this picture, he is dressed casually. The black car is not the same, and there are cars in the distance, both parked, and on the road, that are not in this picture. I tried to find the actual Abbey Road album cover online to post for comparison, but all I could find was a bunch of posters for sale,.

Magnificent... with a click

the pic was altered by Volkswagen since the Beetle in the album cover foto was parked half on the sidewalk which is illegal
VW used this to promote their new Park Assist Technology...

And yes, was there once - me as a huge Beatles Fan I just had to..!
