That's brilliant! Reminds me of when in college we had a half-dozen slinkies in rainbow colors and went to a mall with an escalator ramp and sent them going down it. The ramp's speed was less than what the slinkies did so they eventually made it to the bottom. We tried it on a regular escalator, but they never went more than three steps because the spacing wasn't right -- and it also got us in trouble because the security person said they could get caught in the cracks between steps and pulled into the machinery underneath.
