The Magnificent Splendour Never Dies.

I'm thinking it was with fall foliage.

The gorge looks inviting as well. Makes me want to load up one of my canoes.:) Is it clean enough to splash around in? The distant shot looks like you took it from a nearby road. No skinny dipping, I suppose.:(
It’s from a walking/bike path that runs for 10 miles along the river, so no skinny dipping. There is a canoe portage so that’s a possibility but the river is a little too low for that right now. I saw 4 huge fish today off one of the bridges that cross the river. I’m not sue what they are.

Excellent. Is it still being used?

When I was a little kid I was always getting in trouble for climbing anything I could. :)
Yes. It's part of the CPR line (Canadian Pacific Railroad) and a number of freight trains cross over it every day. I don't know if passenger trains use it since it was originally built in the early 1900s as a freight line.

The trestle bridge (a.k.a. The High Level Bridge) crosses over the Old Man River near Lethbridge, Alberta (just south of Calgary).

Great video. Thanks!

That's precisely why I used to climb everything. For quite some time I was the youngest of the family and small for my age, and I always felt left out/frustrated when the taller folk talked about things I couldn't see.

Give me a view! :)
Of course, it's also an excellent structure.

And, I'd likely hop a freight car for that ride.:)
