That makes me think of how Mt. Shasta began, a cluster of cinder cones and lava vents. Later eruptions started burying those as the numerous vents consolidated into just five, and finally one vent dominated and buried all the rest.

I'm thinking that's fake -- unless someone hung a bicycle on a tree branch and left it there for forty or fifty years.
But I have seen a couple of real ones where something got abandoned leaning against a tree and the tree grew and slowly enveloped them -- ruined a chain on my chain saw that way once; someone had set a ceramic flower pot into the notch between the tree trunks of a tree, and the three trunks grew together, totally enclosing it.
