I'm not a fan of Mr. Bowie.

However, Nirvana did an all acoustic version of it which I particularly liked. It wasn't long after that MTV session when its lead singer killed himself by sticking a pistol in his mouth and pulling the trigger.

What was that movie he was in again?

He frightened the life out of me as a child.

In 1986, he played the wizard in Jim Henson's Labyrinth, he also played in other movies, The man who fell to earth in 1976...

i LOVE the nirvana version! a bit more than the original sadly :/

Thanks for the video!

There's a small group of people, including my friend Patrick, here in Philadelphia who have been close to David Bowie for years., They're fans but more, as they're in continuous communication and it's become a friendship.

Bowie's famous live album was recorded in my current home township, Upper Darby, PA, at the Tower Theatre.

SO my degrees of separation? 1.

Anyone else besides me prefer the Nirvana version of this song?

I'd SucK david bowies dick even if he were a corpse...but this song does nothing for me...maybe im spoiled cos i started with ziggy and aladdin sane first, but i cannot make it through this song, or most of the album actually.:(
