Everyone has their own idea of what it's all about.

Here's mine: The world is just the ass-end of the universe. Shit's flying everywhere, and we're all just trying not to step in it.

So, what do you guys think?

I'd rather find the meaning behind death, and avoid it, rather than the meaning of life, so that I can live it.

Of course, both are mans' futile attempt at control.
I'm going to go laugh at this now over ice cream and South Park.

Life is a subjective experience. You choose your own meaning.

There's gotta be more to life
Than chasing down every temporary high
To satisfy me

I don't know if I believe in one universal meaning. It's however you choose to use it, and whatever purposes you attach.

I don't believe that we're all here for the same reason.

Yeah, I agree, too.

It's whatever we make it!

Ultimately your life means jack because you are the only one who will ever experience it, so do what you want, have as much damn fun as you can, and try your best to enhance the lives of those around you.

Once you die you will be forgotten withing 2 -3 generations anyway, so screw them, who cares what those damn kids think anyway!

Is that mean you going to do porn ? :-)

The meaning of life is not an external concept; it is internal. It is easy to imagine it as some great mystery one must discover, some ultimate truth one must uncover, some fantastic secret one must lean. But it is far more difficult to realize that the meaning of our life is simply what we make of it. That knowledge places upon us the burden of responsibility.

Many people grow complacent while imagining their lives do not matter when weighed against eternity. How can such a fleeting thing be of any consequence? Our lives are all but tiny beats within the heart of time; the blinking of an eye; a sigh in a chorus of creation. In these thoughts we diminish the self. How small we become, how insignificant.

This is the curse of finite beings that have consciousness to perceive eternity.

The moment of change comes when we step back from that edge and realize that the weight of forever is not ours to bear. What we do in the moment is the universe. Every moment counts.

When you really understand that, then life does not require ‘meaning’. Meaning simply requires life.

Good post ..|

Human EGO/Pride would want a 'Grand Theme' but life and its meaning are rather minute and must be internalized.

Our life definitely requires meaning, revealed when adding purpose to our life.

Our life's journey must create purpose for us to make the best use of our time and justify our reason for wanting to rise from our bed every morning.

Life's canvas needs our artistic skills to sketch a portrait of a life worth living for.

A life that subsists on internalising our thoughts, dreams and aspirations is a retreat from life.

Our life' s destiny is not a matter of mere random chance, rather a matter of our choice, to be useful, responsible, creative and compassionate.

To love, and to be loved in return.

To know that our life mattered to those with whom we shared our life.

When we are inspired by a purpose filled life, such as a great project, all our thoughts break the bonds that enslave us to a feeling of uselessness. Our mind transcends our imagined limitations. Our conscious awareness of who we are expands in all directions. We discover strengths, skills, faculties and talents that spring to life when we choose to translate our dreams into reality.

Our thoughts, and words should translate into actions that value our life for all that we believe our life is worth.

Since geloge beat me to the song, here's the actual meaning of life.

probably the meaning to my life is being happy and the pursuit of it.
