YESTERDAY, I SAW THE MOVIE, THE MIST.
IT WAS OKAY.
THE ENDING WAS DUMB.
HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS SEEN IT, WHAT DID U GUYS THINK OF THE MOVIE?
HERES WHAT THE MOVIE IS ABOUT

After a violent storm attacks a town in Maine, an approaching cloud of mist appears the next morning. As the mist quickly envelops the area, a group of people get trapped in a local grocery store -among them, artist David Drayton and his five-year-old son. The people soon discover that within the mist lives numerous species of horrific, unworldly creatures that entered through an inter-dimensional rift, which may or may not have been caused by a nearby military base. As the world around them manifests into a literal hell-on-earth, the horrified citizens try desperately to survive this apocalyptic disaster.
 
I read the story in Steven King's Skeleton Crew and enjoyed it, can't wait to see the film version though usually book to film usually suck. oh well it'll be an experience if anything.
 
I thought it was outstanding. The ending is not a happy-fun-fun-balloon Hollywoodland finish, but it is pretty consistent with a scary film that shows America and people in a fairly negative light.

I thought the message was "We live (and or die) by our decisions AND inaction is a decision."

...and there was a coupla hot guys in it...;)
 
The movie was pretty good although some parts of it were just chessy and over-acted. I liked the Bible beater, she played her part perfectly. She elicited a strong reaction from the audience.

Other than that the movie sort of reminded me of the famous Twilight Zone episode "Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" which like the Mist dealt with how humans regress to their primal instincts when threatened.
 
Let's just say there was one part where everyone in the theatre started clapping...

After too long of hearing a certain character speak, everyone in the audience erupted with applause when that bitch got her dues...
 
Yeah me and my date were pretty reactive to the movie. Everyone in the theater, including us, loved Ollie, Irene and the part where that bitch was offed.

Love Marcia Gay Harden and the woman who played Laurie. Two very good actresses.

The movie was good and the ending... was sad. It made me cry.
 
I do not want to see this movie after my brother told me how stupid it ends. Plus the movie looks way too computerized for my taste.
