I only hope Dustin that your colleagues don't feel that in some way you precipitated the collapse of the company by resigning. Not, of course, that they should.
 
You've given your notice and are entitled to leave on the day agreed. Period. After how they're treated you, you owe them nothing. If I were in your shoes, the company would have to offer a pretty substantial financial inducement to persuade me to stay for even one day longer than I was obliged to.
 
That sounds rather off to me. Unless there's a particular client you think might offer you a permanent full-time position, I still think I'd be inclined to say I was leaving on the appointed day. Has your present company even offered to make good all of the additional hours they owe you?
 
Good grief Dustin. Well, personally I'd run as far as I could from this place. If Thurs or Friday is your last day, then stick to it. Go to your cabin next week then come back and start anew. IMO Dustin :)
 
I agree with what Bill said :) You're well being is the most important thing just take care of yourself and things will fall into place

Dustin right now I think you should focus on your well being. The job stuff can wait it'll still be there tomorrow but without your health you can't do much. Try not to stress ... easier said than done I know believe me.
