The Blackberry Bold is very much poor man's smartphone....

Looks ok to me. I know here, the mobile carriers offer older model iPhones and Android phones free or very cheap when newer models come out. And they still work great!

My current phone is fine. But when the time to upgrade comes, I'd better get the option to go for the newest models out there. We pay enough money for the service...

To be honest, no idea. My mum recently upgraded hers to the newest Samsung Galaxy.
