The Most Amazing Car Commercial - It's 20+ Years Old!!!

Okay, what's the word I'm trying to think of here?

Um.

Oh, yeah.

Wow!

You're correct, it's not animated, but there are a lot of computer generated images. There is no way most of those can be actual shots.

I was thinking the same thing. It was fun to watch, though.

Once upon a time there were no computers. We had to do things the 'old fashioned way' with professional stunt drivers and camera angles and lots and lots of rehearsing.

I agree. And for a commercial it sure was long.

But it was still amazing.

Very wild and very cool.

I believe it was a series of commercials strung together into one large piece.

I still don't believe it was computer-generated, though.

I am merely echoing here what gsdx posted. It looks like a series of commercials and some good stunt driving, the good old fashioned way.

you guys never were at an auto/motor show? good stunt drivers can do much.
of course there are some camera angle tricks, and those are modified cars, but most of it probably is real. the only scene where i am not really sure is the ship/river jump thing. maybe they had a bluescreen there.

Awesome, Spooger. Show the little kiddies here what real talent is (in the real world before computer generated effects, body surgery, and viagra).

This is strange... This is the second time I've seen this bizarre car ad in the past few days. Why has it suddenly been resurrected?
