I told Brad the other night that the Yankees and Cleveland were left scratching their heads as Boston overcame overwhelming leads by both.....you have to put the stake in their hearts, leave them opportunity, they will not fold....when the Yankees back in 2004 had them at a 3-0 hole in the ALCS,they topped it off with what appeared to be a devastating, demoralizing 19-8 rout in Boston.....yet Boston fought back and ousted the Yankees in the remaining four game sweep.Hate them, but damn they have my respect.4-2 victory tonight,on to a thrilling game 7.

^ I think either the Rays did this intentionally so that lots of people keep going to St. Pete (hey, it's capitalism for ya's), or they became complacent when they were leading 7 in game 5 when they should know full well that Boston statistically comes back.
I tend to think the second one was correct.Of course they could do things the socialist way, call it a tie and both teams could go home with official statue of good sportsmanship.;)

With Boston? FUCK NO! I'm sorry, but right now I'm more hawkish than McCain when it comes to winning this thing... and proving the Red Sox wrong with their miracles.
Well,I hope Tampa can do it tomorrow night....but for tonight I'll let Brad have his fun.I tell you,if Boston and Philly face each other in the World Series, the only thing I'll root for is more closeups of see through pants, nice crotches and outlines...and gorgeous players with hot asses because there is no way in this existence I'll support either team!

Ordinarily I'd laugh because^is really funny but real pissed right now.Read that Joba Chamberlain was arrested back home in Nebraska on a DUI charge, and had a full bottle of liquor on him....fucking dangerous,a threat to himself and others...when will these idiots ever learn about drinking and driving?!!!I hope he wises up fast.....I'm sick of these pampered entertainers acting uninhibited and irresponsible in public.I know they're people, and have flaws like everyone but we see this nonsense all too often.

Aww......thanks (*8*)

So cute

Well the Phillies will be quite rested for the WS, while the other team..........won't be. :D

Well hon, I need to remind you that rest is not always a good thing.

If Bostom pulls this off tonight, (I am so hoping for a game 7 showdown),
then win Monday and go up aganist the Phillies in the WS, they will be on fire to win, and no amount of rest will help the Phill's
The Red Sox, defending world champions, the club that somehow turns every postseason appearance into another chapter in the New England legend. Trailing this series 3-1 just a couple days ago and at one point seven runs behind with seven outs to go, they are now determined to complete yet another staggering comeback. The Phiilis will get spanked.

Of course (apologies to Brad) I am still hoping for the Rays to pull it off.
But either way the Phillies get, ......wait for it......,spanked
.

No matter what the outcome, no one can deny this has been an awesome post season and we hve all had a lot of fun sharing our thoughts in this thread.
I really enjoyed teasing Scrub.
Thanks for starting it Cory (Abs) ..|

The big guy prolly says it best here, and this is for Brad

Holy fucking shit!(*U*)Hamel's a keeper!:gogirl:Thanks sonny....I'm certain it is appreciated by all!:D

That look that Papelbon gets in his eyes is incredible and Masterson is so cute too.

It would be nice if we take Tampa Bay,but I am prepared to take the crap if we don't.
Either way, like Sonny,Saucy and the rest have said,it is all in good fun.
When I said "talk to me in October way back,I had no idea this would happen.
Game 7's are always an uphill climb too,and I am not counting Tampa out at all.

Meanwhile Cards fans seem to be busy getting ready for next year:eek:

Definitely Brad...what would baseball be without some good natured trash talking rivalries?:D

Papelbon is hot, especially when he's all pumped up like that....and Justin Masterson, wow!:gogirl:

I'll even say I was happy for a good guy like Jason Varitek that he made such a vital contribution with his home run,as he has really struggled since midseason..but keep it among yourselves!:-$

Boston makes the most of its opportunities and gets it done....we'll see if that trend from 2004 and 2007 continues this time with tonight's game 7 against Tampa.

Actually Sonny, this is more my type

Sorry David (Wright), but you never took your shirt off for me.;)

Pat and Cole are two really different types but both gorgeous....damn David plays it coy not showing off that hot form we know he has!Imagine if it was David Wright instead of another hottie SNY reporter Kevin Burkhard sonny met up in a Shea restroom!

Abs allows this a bit,but I agree let's keep our eyes on the playoff tonight and World Series!

Though I'm certain we may admire a nice form every now and then!;)

Eh.

We've posted pictures of hot players before, and we always get back on track. :)

Seriously, Brad - where in the HELL did you find that Cardinal "fan" pictures with his cock hanging out?

And Scrub, I hate to bring it up, but the rest Detroit had in 2006 (over a week) while the Cards and Mets were battling it out in 7 games came back to bite the Tigers in the ass.

"Hit it to the pitcher!" :rotflmao:

However, you never know. That's why baseball rocks!

I know you give us a wide leash(Like the way it sounds):badgrin:because we do get on to the good baseball stuff(of which hot players only are one element of appreciation);)

Regarding that Card "fan".....I actually did miss the wiener sticking out part.!oops!I I swear I saw the hot pic without noticing the surprise package!#-oCan we keep him,Abs?

Back to tonight's game.....I'm just having a pit feeling in my stomach Boston is going to make its third miracle comeback to get into a World Series.:(Tampa is good and tough but they do seem a little rattled by the perserverance and resiliency of the Sox.God if the Sox win another World Series Red Sox Nation is going to be insufferable!Lester should be very tough, and Ortiz seems to be getting more comfortable at the plate.I don't think Lester will give Boston another stinker.Hopefully Garza will be up to the challenge.....he is a really tough young pitcher with lots of poise and ability.C'mon,Rays!

might not wanna hit my man Pedrioa will the ball
Damn I wish the Mets had a couple more Dustin Pedroia types.Guy battles all the time, great hitter for average, surprising power and a doubles machine who is a good, smart baserunner who does not strike out much. But the grit and desire make him the great player and competitor he is showing the world.
