I didnt like the winner song :-( My favorites were Norway, Iceland and the sexy boys of Greeeeeece.

But I like the show. It was ironic and self-deprecating, very good.

And don´t forget: Two men kissed on stage (and two girls also). Maybe it was the first time for the tv-viewer in Turkey, Russia or Belarus it happens on TV.
Thank you, Sweden.

I guessed that Denmark, Russia, Norway, Ukraine and Azerbaijan would all be in the top 5 and I was right :D It was for this local contest so hopefully I will win something. I also voted for all those countries except Ukraine.

I love the semi-homoerotic Azerbaijan entry... the guys were so cute. The woman in the end seemed kind of out of place, maybe they were worried it would be too gay for their homeland to handle without her haha.

The guy from Lithuania is so cute I envy his wife.

Ireland... YUMMY topless men but the singer couldn't sing in tune even if the fate of the world depended on it.

Denmark deserved to win. Best song, charming girl, unique vocals and a cute performance.

Is it just me or was the singer from Azerbaijan with his boyfriend in the green room? They were very friendly to each other when they were shown... more so than the typical group cheering.

I agree about everything basically! I loved Denmark, Ukraine and Azerbaijan this year, and they were the top 3! So I couldn't be more happy :)

I loved the stage show from Azerbaijan too! Everyone kept talking about how gay Finland was, and how campy Romania was.. but hello! Did you see Azerbaijan? The guy was basically flirting with the guy inside of the box. And then all of a sudden the woman came out of nowhere and I guess she was supposed to be his "love interest" or something. It just made me laugh. They had no chemistry whatsoever, it just looked so weird, especially considering he was flirting with the boxman right up till that happened. LOL. I know homosexuality is forbidden in Azerbaijan, so it makes sense that they had to "straight it up" with that chick in the red dress at the end, but I think it's wonderful that it was still overall gay, and it must be one of the few times he's allowed to be himself, so that's cute :) I agree about the boyfriend in the green room. I thought about that too!

I think Ireland was robbed! Just like we were last year. Call me crazy, but I actually liked Norway's entry from last year better than this year's entry. It was less depressing and more catchy. Speaking off.. Romania didn't deserve to get so many points.. I just o_0 I think people voted for it just because it was so so so bad, you know? It was so bad it became good. That's my only explanation.

Denmark deserved to win, I agree! It was a really cute song. I know a lot of people hate it, but it was my favorite since the start, so I was thrilled when it won :)

The Azerbaijan entry was very homoerotic. It was a song from the heart. The two guys were flirting with each other. His true love trapped inside a box. Then of course comes the woman in red to sweep him away to his eternal "bliss." Finland's entry "Marry Me" was fun loving, light hearted. The two women kissing at the end made a slight point for Marriage Equality. The gay parody of Marry Me on You Tube is great.

Technically wasn't the other guy suppose to be his shadow? Same movements and wearing black.

When they were sliding down it kinda reminded me of Britney from the Dream Within a Dream tour when she dances with "herself" on a screen.

Do you disagree with me on the vocals from Ireland? :)

Yes, the sliding down the box was amazing!

Just have to correct myself.. homosexuality is actually not illegal in Azerbaijan. I read on wiki that it was legalized in 2000. But it's still a very conservative society though.. homosexuality is not something that is often talked about. I think I loved this song more because of that, you know? :) I'm pretty sure the singer is gay.. just a feeling I have.

BTW, I think it can be interpreted in a number of ways. I definitely admit that the guy being his shadow does make the most sense, he was freed from his shadow when he met the love of his life, aka the girl. But I like the gay explanation more, so that's what I'm going with... lol. And it's not like the guy could kiss a guy on stage like Krista did. He's obviously gay but comes from a very conservative country. Just that he got to have a show with certain homoerotic undertones was progress. Even if it was supposed to be a completely straight story, I don't care. I still ship him with the boxman, aka his shadow.

And yeah, about Ireland.. he didn't sing his best, I agree. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't very good either. But still.. coming last? I mean wow.

I know I'm in the minority, but I hated Finland this year. I don't care if it was a parody on Katy Perry or pro gay marriage. It was still cheap, tacky and just overall bad. And the lesbian kiss was obviously just a cheap ploy to get horny men to vote for them. Not that it worked, since they came third to last :)

Maybe it was intentionally done this way so you can read two different stories from it.

A chance to be a little homoerotic but if he's asked to explain it he can go with the shadow and loving a woman thing.

He was so cute in the green room with his boyfriend. I loved when he kissed his cheek from behind while holding him around the stomach.

Ireland's song was far from being the worst one but the singer just really ruined it for me. It would have done better with another singer or even just that singer using his voice in a different pitch (you could hear it clearly in the final line that when he tones down his voice and sings deeper it sounds much better, less whiny)

Yeah I didn't think Ireland was the worst. It was a fun night though. Belgium and Norway were two of the best.

Funny there weren't many hot guys this year though
