I'm not a big fan of this song...on top of that , although she's pretty, Shakira has an annoying voice...I used to like some of her stuff but Ugh. I'm not feeling this song.

She should have heed Paramount's warning and just promoted the movie Dreamgirls like everybody else and sit your ass down somewhere in the mean time. But NO they could do that.

She is going wind up just like Diana Ross, wire-haired, crazy, has-been because of that Yellow-eyed creep named Matthew Knowles. He is our generation's version of Barry Gordy, but creepier.

I'm incredibly.......underwhelmed, by both the song and the video. When I heard that Shakira and Beyonce would be dueting and on a song called "Beautiful Liar" which just SOUNDED like a cool, sexy song that would be explosive when combining both of their forces. Then I heard the song, and kept waiting and waiting for it to pick up. I waited for a climax that never came. I was really unimpressed. Then I thought that at least the video would be bangin with the likes of these two ladies in it, only to get this video which reminds me of an 80s aerobic video. Pretty disappointing to me.

The song is ok but will end up getting tons of airplay..the video looks like Beyonce's dad shot it in his basement with a $50 camera he got at the flea market along with the shiteous outfits!!!! I'm shocked that Shakira would allow herself to do something so crappy.

I really think the song and the video are both good efforts. If I were them, I'd definitely be proud. Considering they are both huge artists and each have large amounts of fans all over the world, the pairing worked well. Even though it is a Beyonce' featuring Shakira song, they both share the podium equally. One doesn't out do each other (which is good, Beyonce' undeservedly gets that title placed upon her too much)

Why do people get so impressed over glitzy expensive looking videos? Are we all that shallow now? I think the video worked. It focused your attention on them and their bodies. I don't know what the brief was but its simplicity made it work so well, each have two difference personalities and followings. I think if it was any more comlicated it would have been too much.

Oh, I have to add this too, when I first saw it I got hard, the moves they were doing at the end. I have haven't had a reaction like that in a music video in a long time. I liked how they did each other signiture moves, that was Hott!!!

i think the concept of putting shakira and beyonce in a video together is a great one, but COME ON! there were so many different ways they could've shot the video..maybe making it alittle more upbeat during the bridge like the "Buttons" video by the Pussy Cat Dolls...whatever they're both hot so i guess that's what really matters in the end

Beyonce can do no wrong, seems, like anything she does turns to gold.

This never sounded like a number 1 song to me, but it jumped from 94 to 3 on billboard, so its only a matter of time before its #1.
