I think what i should say is, Beyonce's first record sounded more varied, more ranged, more like something that she took her time doing.

The second - mostly a string of club/dance songs with the occassional ballad tossed in. Club music and dance music, i just consider pop - more the popular definition than the Britney Spears cookie cutter variety(at least Beyonce can sing) - though she had some of that too(Irreplacable, and on some short level, Get Me Bodied). Hip hop to me(in differation to rap or r&B) is becoming very "pop" now - and so, i'm bored with it. I want something original - not out there like Kelis - but damn, you'd think of all people to give us some ooph and some passion, it'd be Beyonce. I think she just phoned it in on this record.

I mean, she sold well. But that doesn't say too much. Just hoping the next record will be hers, and not a bunch of club hits(and low bugdet videos - not that videos get shown much anymore on the major networks anyway).

I think Beyonce's latest album was innovative. Who else but Beyonce could come up with a song over the Ring The Alarm, Upgrade U and Get Me Bodied beats? Freakum Dress was another difficult beat to craft a song on but she did it. Beyonce is known for her club bangers and like I said earlier, when she put out something meaningful and serious it flopped. I would love to see her doing more serious songs, but that's not in vogue right now and that's sad.

Beyonce develped her safe persona due to all of the flack she recieved when two of the original Destiny's Child members were kicked out. She is rehearsed because she wants to protect herself and not offend anyone. Also, she's a superstar now and everything she says is over-analyzed and scrutinized so she tries to be careful when she speaks. I am a fan and I do wish she'd show more personality, but I understand why she doesn't. If you watch old clips with the original members, Beyonce was very lively.

I couldn't listen to the file, but I believe you are talking about the new remix to 'Until the End of Time'.

They don't really blend well on this track... Maybe on something else?

Which song are they remixing @_@? I can't tell if it's supposed to be 2Pac's Until the End of Time, or Mr. Mister's Broken Wings. Either way, the only thing that seems to tie the songs together are the chorus. I guess that's the point of having the word Remix next to it... Sorry if I look like a dumbass, but I just wanted to know.

Tyra Show: why is she so obsessed w/ Beyonce??

I'm watching a re-run of her show, featuring Rihanna.

The whole time, she mentions Beyonce when they're talking about Rihanna working w/ Jay, her hairstyles, etc.

I like Beyonce and kind of like Rihanna, but I think it's rude to mention another celebrity because in a way, Tyra is comparing the two. Not to mention, it must be awkward for Rihanna.

Tyra is so weird!! And why does she always have to say something about her life!!!

she was probably trying to get Rihanna to say something negative about her. i can see Tyra tryin to get some shit stirred up. i love all the parodying of Tyra they do on "The Soup". makes u wonder if maybe Tyra is a little crazy.....

Tyra is also obsessed with HERSELF.

On every episode of Top Model, she has to talk about herself. In every conversation, she manages to make it about HER. HER time in Paris. HER hardships. HER covers of Sports Illustrated. Etc etc.

Oh, and if I hear her say "smile with your eyes!" on more time on Top Model, I'm gonna yank her cheap-ass weave out.
