Im excited. And the ppl sying this is rushed, come on, ppl used to release albums every year. Beyonce just wants her fans to have her music.

Im glad she isnt like Shania Twain, which releases albums decades apart, lol.

I still have yet to hear Single Ladies, but I have heard If I Were A Boy. It's okay, just okay. I'm not sure if it works for her though.

Okay, so I just heard SL, and I understand the comparison to GMB, but GMB was much better, especially after seeing the choreography executed to the song, live. I cannot say that I am too impressed with SL either.

And does anyone notice how much Christina Aguilara and Spear's new songs sound alike? UGH.

No, I cannot say that I do. From the lyrics to the tempo to the instrumentals to the vocals, I do not hear it. The only way I hear that they are alike is that they are similar styles. Other than that, nope.

The concept of the Single Ladies video is really cool, and it actually makes me like the song more than I did originally. But what does Beyonce have against wearing clothes???

To answer your question, I appreciate both of them in different ways as entertainers. That still does not change the fact that I do not hear how their songs sound alike outside of the sharing the same style of music.

As far as Beyonce is concerned, the videos for "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies" were not too amazing for me. I could pass on them easily. Next...

Well, these two songs arent very good, they really arent very good....infact they suck..

If i were a boy is slightly better than Single ladies, but single ladies sounds exactley like Get Me Bodied....BOORING!

she failed miserably, i doubt these songs will become big hits.

her new album i think will maybe be her "slump" album, with not many sales at all, and before the album is even released for the first time, she is already planning to release a deluxe version sometime in the near future, what the fuck is up with that? who fucking plans to re-release their album before the first edition has even came out?

I heard Single Ladies this morning on the radio and thought the same thing, I don't think the album will do very well.

no, im not sure it will, its likely to become her slump album, like ushers album here i stand which came out earlier this year in may, but hasnt had a hit on it since love in this club..and took six months to sell a million copies in what his last album sold in a week, every artist has one or two slump albums where their popularity declines a bit. but i may be wrong, she may have a killer song on this album..only time will tell

In some strange sort of way, I like Single Ladies. At first, I thought the same thing as so many other people I know which was, "This sounds like Get Me Bodied Part 2." Somehow, the song grew on me. No matter what, the video is the business. There's a certain simplicity to the video that works; it's just three minutes of her, Beyonce, doing choreography. You can boo me for liking it.

If I Were A Boy is beautiful for me, although it would have been nice if she built up to her maximum crescendo, as opposed to wailing on the very first chorus. It's slightly different from other mainstream artists who have done role reversals, because the concept is that she would have a better understanding of a woman if she were a guy as she would know how it feels.

The single ladies choreography is so hot. I went to the club last night and so many people knew the steps. As single ladies, started to play they rushed the dancefloor and did the entire routine.
