Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

For DIL, the singles were released in this order:

1) Crazy In Love
2) Baby Boy
3) Me, Myself, and I
4) Naughty Girl

For I Am...Sasha Fierce, the order was:

1) Single Ladies and If I Were A Boy
2) Halo and Diva
3) Sweet Dreams

So, she does not have a track record for releasing the weakest singles first.

Do you see what is the far right single? The first one she released. All the weakest in my opinion.

Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

If it's anything like the leaked versions that I've heard then it Sounds A LOT like "Pon de Floor" by Major Lazer....

Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

That's because it sample's "Pon the Floor."

Major Lazer is a collaboration between producers Switch and Diplo, both of them also produced Run the World for Beyonce.

I didn't like the song when I first heard the leaked demo a couple of days ago, but I bought the official single on iTunes and now I can't stop playing it.

She's going be dancing her ass off in this music video, that's for sure.

Crazy In Love was probably one of the strongest songs she's ever released, from DIL specifically, considering since it's an R&B crossover track. The melody was engaging, the hook was strong, the lyrics were decent (for Beyonce that's amazing), and the production was fantastic and well-structured.

Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

I want to love this song, but I only like it. I'm late to the Bey party overall and am just now becoming a big fan, which has nothing to do with this single. I'm very excited to hear the new album!

Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

I love Beyonce, but this is the worst song I have ever heard from her, it s utter garbage I listened to it 3 times and it will never grow on me.

Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

I didn't like it. Guess it's too much of a "concept", but for me music must be CATCHY! If you have to keep used to listening to it in order to like... It's not worthy.

She always releases her weakest tracks first for some reason...

Baby Boy > Naughty Girl > Crazy In Love
Irreplaceable > Ring the Alarm > Deja Vu
Single Ladies > Halo > Sweet Dream > Diva > If I Were A Boy

In fact, I once heard from a guy who worked in the music industry that many artists act like this. The reason? "Since the fans are so desperate to hear something new, they will grab anything the artist releases. Usually the second single is the best one." Not sure if that's a rule for EVERY singer/band, but after I heard that I started thinking about it and realized that it do is true sometimes.

Re: Your thoughts on Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World)

Bey and Gaga are my favorite female artists and performers but seriously...wtf are they doing? This "Who Run the World" is a waist of Beyonce's time, not to mention her talent. I wasn't expecting another Single Ladies, Get Me Bodied, or Crazy In Love or anything but this definitely shouldn't be a single or even on her album for that matter.

I remember reading somewhere that one of the producers working with her stated she was in a good place in her life and that her songs were all up tempo and fun. Not liking this one though, pretty dull comeback.

^ She released it on her official YouTube channel...just hate that stuttering/clicking noise...fuck...

I think it's a great song but my favourite single of hers has to be Baby Boy. I can get the chorus stuck in my head for days.

I have personal favorites as well. I'm not saying that Crazy In Love is the ultimate single by Beyonce; I was explaining why the song was a great choice as a single. There are other songs she's released as singles, but they no longer receive radio play like CIL.

Now hear this! You think I'm a GagaStan...and I am, but Gaga doesn't come close to my L O V E for Beyoncé! Beyoncé is my Queen! No one can outperform her! She is simply the greatest entertainer of this generation! No one can touch her! We talk like this cuz we-can-back-it-up, BITCH!

You want my thoughts on this single? Oh Yeah? Well let me tell you something, 'Run The World (Girls)' is the most ](*,) [-X  #-o  first single choice in the history of Beyoncé's reign! I. AM. :dead:

It's like, another GirlPower/ManBashing anthem? Another one!? Really? Another one? 'Me, Myself & I', 'Ring the Alarm', 'Irreplaceable', 'Beautiful Liar', 'If I were a Boy', 'Single Ladies', 'Diva'...I'm like, I'm speechless.....no, that's a lie...I want something different! I want something darker...or controversial, like Usher's 'Confessions' album! Yes, I know that she's happily married, but that's the point! Do something to slap-a-bitch-upside-da-head! Take it to the next level!

I hope there's a 2nd single b4 the album drops, or we could have a fucking Bionic on our asses! Epic video or not! Mark my fucking words!

First Gaga's  'Born This Way' album cover, and now this? I'm fucking pissed! And it takes allot to piss this bitch off! But bitch is PISSED! PISSED! Pissed like a BITCH!
